I am planning a trip backpacking through Central and South America with a friend. We will be taking buses around, and staying in hostels along the way (not trekking and camping). We are starting in Argentina and working our way North.
Our biggest concern is Columbia. What is the best way to avoid the country? We aren’t sure if flying is a cheap option, or if there are boat/charter companies that go from Peru to Panama (etc.).
Also, if you have any tips on backpacking through Central and South America it would be appreciated!

I posted a question about what to pack for camping. We are camping from today until Sunday. It’s my parents (in their camper) and my 3 year old, 7 month old, my hubby and I in our pop up camper. Almost all of my answers were people telling me I was crazy for taking them camping and that I should find a babysitter. WHAT!? lol I’m going camping so they can experience something new. Our pop up camper has AC and my moms camper is super nice with a queen size bed, TV, shower and toilet, stove, oven, refrigerator and freezer so my boys can spend some time in there if it gets to be too hot or if they are bored etc. Why does everyone seem to think it’s terrible? I don;t get it. lol
Oh and also we aren’t even going to be out in the middle of the woods or anything. We are going to a campground by the beach. lol
what should i bring for this camping trip?
By · Commentsok my dad and i are planning a DIRT bike riding camping trip in the dirt hills up high in the mountains and my dad came up with this one thing of looking online to see if there is a checklist but i can only find like motorcycling check list for like Harleys so we are camping in a tent for a weekend or one night and i want to see if anyone can find a website or can make a really good one. like
