Camped there last year for the first time.. Aug 2008 .. Was an amazing site. Very clean and well maintained. Bugs were not bad at all.

If you are meaning the death in 2008….that young man was not a climber.
He was swimming and jumping off the rocks, he slipped while ‘climbing’ up the rock (to jump off).
He was not a “rock climber”.

I believe Mazinaw rock is where a 20 year old was climbing and fell to his death.

    RIP

This bad boy is very lovely, also very swampy! If you go in June or July, bring a bug tent to put around your table! My camp ground was right next to a nice little swamp :D ! Other than that, it was very nice
