Camping out in the back of a pickup truck?
Any tips? I was thinking of laying down a ton of blankets and such on the bottom of the pickup truck bed then have pillows and sleeping bags, etc.
But what I’m struggling with is the cover? I was thinking of using a tarp or something, but how should I keep it up?
Any other suggestions? I’m parking in my backyard, also there’s two people camping out!
Thanks much in advance!

Piece of cake,…make a 3 sided frame out of 2×4′s for the tail end get it ? so it’s like ,one on top and one on each side, carve the ends to fit in the holes in the truck rail and it will stand by it self…next take a pole long enough to reach from on top of the cab , back to just hang over your frame work, tie it up with some rope or bunji chord ans throw a tarp accross the whole mess and instant house ! usually I have my canoe setting on my truck this way and tarp over that if I’m cooking off the tail gate in the rain on my camp stove.
