Can’t find anywhere to rent with two large dogs?

My mother in law was kicked out of her mobile home (owned by dtr and son-in-law) and now resorted to living in their non-functional RV. She is having a heck of a time finding an interim place to rent until she figures out what she will do. She has two large dogs 65-75lbs and only about a 1k budget to work with for rent. Placer County, California. Her dogs are part of her family so please don’t suggest she gets rid of the dogs. Places I find only take pets to like 25lbs! RIDICULOUS ~ my GSD weighs 110lbs ~ thank God I don’t have to find a place!

she is between a rock and a hard spot.

there are places that hold dogs for people who can’t afford to
    maintain them.

also, why not everyone get together and buy a house in the
country side so she can have her dogs!!

IF she got real sick, what what the family do then?
i suggest till she is earning good $, that she become
    less intransigent,

I would look up from rent.com or apatments.com and check option “pet allow.” I am living Santa Ana, southern California, where I live, pets are welcome, the apartment has the sign “Pet friendly” thus, almost 70% of people living here has 1 or 2 dogs/cats even big ones

I take pets, as long as they are not pit bulls I do not care. I even have added dog runs to all of my houses.

Have her keep calling, that is all she can do.

    Or move in with you!

Unfortunately that is pretty standard. Large dogs can cause damage so landlords are VERY hesitant to rent to them.

There is not much you can do but ask each individual landlord.
