how clean are most park lakes?
today i went fishing at the park lake. the water is very murky and some street drainage goes into the lake. the lake is pretty big. it is lake mercer in mercer county new jersey to be exact. are there any fish in this lake besides a few sunnies? could you swim in this lake?
That’s really a case by case deal. Some public waters are horribly polluted. The park lake I fish is in the deep woods and only allows trolling motors, so other than farm runoff, there’s no pollution that I know of.
