My friend lives in Downtown Houston and has never been fishing and I want to try to find a park pond or something of the sort to take him fishing. Does anyone know of any place like that in Houston? I’m not from the area so I am not familiar with it.
There are quite a few possibilities. Blue Ridge Park Pond is a good spot. From beltway 8 south take S. Post Oak Rd. exit. Turn right on S. Post Oak to Court Rd. Turn right on Court Rd. to park entrance on the left. Park is in the corner of S. Post Oak and Court. Phone (281) 431-0131 for information.
