PIKE Caught At Family Fishing Day – High Park, Toronto


A pike is caught by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority boat at Family Fishing Day in Grenadier Pond, High Park, Toronto, ON Canada on July 5, 2008. The catch and release of this fish is part of a study of the marine life in the pond. A large carp, as well as catfish, yellow perch, large mouth bass and several other species were caught at this event. Fun for the whole family.     I was there last month, some chinese dude caught like 40 sunfish and took them all home.

    Great Fishing story! The view from Windermere on the Lake looks over that Pond and must give a great vantage point.

    I am reminded as a kid at how much time and laughter I spent around the pond, I was raised in Roncesvalles Village.
