    are you bringing a pot?
i suggest bringing two pots… and two lids…
If your not bringing a pot disregard my answer…
and if your not camping by a river or stream, then you need to bring your own water.

If your bringing a pot, and your camping by a stream or river, you could make spaghetti and sauce. [bring sauce in a PLASTIC container]

You could also bring little prepackaged things like top ramen, and cup of noodle [or cup of soup...i dont remember]

You could bring preseasoned rice containers[theyre in boxes], and beans, and cook that over the fire. Bring some dried meat as well[jerky].

You can bring hard sausages, like salami, and any cheese in wax, crusty bread [not sliced] , and canned or jarred olives.

Fresh fruits and veggies are always fun, bring carrots, onions, broccoli, bell peppers, and a bag of white rice, and use one pan to cook the rice, and one to sautee the veggies. bring along some teriyaki sauce [bottles of course] and you have some delicious stir fry!
You should have this meal the first night, so it doesnt go bad [unless your bringing a cooler of course]

oatmeal and fruit [apples, oranges/grapefruit...things that dont spoil easily] are a good breakfast. bring cinnamon if you want to make things more tasty!

canned fruit works just as well.

If your going to be fishing, bring some lemons and herbs, and some foil [optional] and then some extra veggies. You can steam the veggies with the foil, [poke hole in foil and wrap around top of pan. place veggies on top of foil. make sure pan is filled with water first though!] and also wrap the fish in the foil with some lemon and herbs and throw it on the fire.
    yum!

If your bringing spices, bring cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, lemons, and allspice, add to pot, add a little water, and chop up the apples.
simmer apples in the mixture until tender, enjoy with oatmeal for breakfast, or alone!

If your bringing a cooler, You can make almost ANYTHING!!! please respond if your bringing a cooler and i will give you plenty more things to make

Get a portable stove and make the same sort of food you cook at home. It’s not rocket science!

Do you have a small gas grill—those are very nice from what I’ve observed. We just cooked over the camp grill or on it. We really liked the ears of corn, hamburgers and potato slices in foil, hot dogs, soup beans and corn bread—lots of good food. Be sure and check the food often to make sure it’s cooking but yet doesn’t burn or overcook.

Buy some pie irons. The square ones are larger and you waste less bread. Bring a couple of loaves of bread, butter, and fillings. Here are some filling options:

    Pie Iron recipes:
    Cheese slices for grilled cheese
or cheese and lunch meat for hot sandwiches

Pizza sauce, cheese, pepperoni for pizzas

    beef stew

canned pie filling (any flavor will do)

I suppose you could scramble some eggs in a bowl and try putting those in with some cheese and precooked bacon. I’ve never tried it, but it could work

    Camping fork:
    hot dogs
    bratwurst
    s’mores

wrap potatoes in foil and toss them into the charcoals for an hour or so

Get a dutch oven and then look up dutch oven recipes.

If your fire pit has a grill on one side, you can do burgers, chicken, steak, etc as you would on a grill. You could also use a griddle or frying pan on that side.

    The possibilities are endless!
