Where is a good place to go camping in NY during November?

I would prefer a very naturual place where you can hike in and set up a campsite anywhere. Looking for a very large park that is wild and maybe had fishing available.

Allegany State Park, located in Western New York is the largest of all state parks in NYS. If offers camping year round and that untamed wilderness that you are looking for. Another area, you might find interesting, that hugs the Pa/NY border is the Allegheny Reservoir where you can boat, hike, camp and do this at your convenience. Check out:

I Love New York!
If you can stand the heat – come on down to Florida. All of our parks are good in December!
Sure would like to see snow – hope you have fun wherever you land!
Central Park, NYC.
