my husband and i are getting married on valentines day of 2009 and would like to spend our hunnymoon camping since we live in the dfw area we have no clue where to go camping. (other than the backyard) lol. if you know any good places please share!

you could go up to lake lewisville, it has some really good and nice camping spots, and cabins…….. you could also go to Joe Pool Lake, i dont know where it is but i is very nice.
You could honeymoon at Turner Falls, OK. It is a 2-2.5 hour drive north from Dallas if you go the speed limit. They have a campground and cabins. It will still be pretty chilly in February to tent camp and it could even snow.
Dinosaur Valley State Park in Glen Rose, TX is another place you could check out. Depending on where you live, it could also be a 2-2.5 hour drive.
If you aren’t busy doing other things, both places have nice hiking.
Tyler State Park or go south to the Hill country; February can be a dicey time of year so you might want to postpone it a bit. The honeymoon, not the wedding!
The Cedar Hill State Park is very nice .
