Bring a bed for the dog and keep it in the tent so it doesn’t track a ton of dirt & leaves in your tent and it will help her at be comfortable at night. I would also recommend a small (10 foot) tie out & stake. When you tie her/him out try to pick a spot where she won’t get tangled up in trees & such. Also a few Busy bones or rawhides are nice. Last but not least when you do go to tie her out look around and make sure there is No poision ivy!! Leaves if 3 let it be!

A bed and food and bug spray and a chain and stake and a leash. Staying around the camp fido will likely run off if you don’t chain him especially since he’s not fixed. They are hunters and love to hunt and run and run away.

As far as people food, water, bugs sparay and first aid kit lights batteries flashlights and a way to cook if you plann to do that plus a escape route and rain gear plus bedding etc.

my dog is very loyal and if he gets separated from me will freak out and likely run away because he is upset and doesn’t know what to do. I would certainly stay in the same room as the dog and would not tether him because it would probably disturb him. Dry food is obviously the best option or if the dog can stomach what you eat that could always be good too.

    Good answers, so far.
Also make sure his dog tags have a contact name or phone # and proof of vaccinations, in case there is an incident.
Give him a dose of Frontline or a good tick ointment before you go. Call your vet and ask what you might put in a small first aid kit.
Don’t forget the cute bandana! ha

    Supplies needed for a dog-

    -Old blankets for bedding
    -Food and water bowls
    -More than enough food
-Water (in addition to what you already have for yourself)
    -Leash
    -Collar
-A backup leash and collar with tags if you have them
-Long cable or chain to tie them up
-Baby wipes (If you let your dog off the leash, they’re going to get dirty)
-Neosporin (for burns and cuts, comes in handy for both you and your dog

Bring your dog supplies such as food, water, and a bed for the dog. Keep in mind, do NOT feed the dog in the tent. Dog wood will attract a lot of wildlife, and you need to make sure that it is nowhere near the tent.

Make sure you have a really good leash for your dog, and don’t let the dog off of leash when you’re in the area, as they tend to bring bear, moose and other wildlife back, that may be in an agitated state.
