I have a cat whom had kittens, I have to move in a few weeks but because my apartment wont be ready until the?

8th I have to go camping. I have to bring 3 dogs and my cat and her kittens. I dont know anyone to watch them so what is a great way to make my cat and her babies comfy, i want to go hiking and leave my cat in my minivan with the window rolled down. It wont be hot where I am going. I need some clever ideas.

NOT a good idea. Call some local vets and ask if they provide boarding services for a few days. Don’t let them charge u for each cat, haggle with them. Its usually like 20-30 per day.

Well, you need to leave the windows rolled up a little bit more than half way, just enough for the air to ventilate, and for the kitties not to get out. Have a small litter box. Enough water, and food. Have a bed area, and an area where they can just play. Of course, this is for the cats. It won’t work to have dogs in a car. And you probably will be charged somehow..

Uhmmm. I don’t know about taking mother cats and her kittens with you camping…I would be inclined to phone around for a good boarding cattery or your local vet. I fear transporting the new family may be too stressful for them.

Why can’t you just put them in a cattery ( cat hotel )? I suggest you don’t bring them along because they might get eaten up or something + you might forget to feed them while you’re hiking +your bag will be heavy with cat food and litter + your minivan will smell of poop. In a good cattery, they will feed your pet everyday, let than out once in a while and they can monitor the cats properly.
