I wanna take my girlfriend camping in lake arrowhead or big bear?

where is the best place to camp…i have little experience and that was from when i was in high school with a huge group. Now it will just be me and her…what do i need…like tents and stuff…and where is the best location to do it at…i also want to hike and show her really nice scenery…please help

    Pretty detailed question. Maybe you should try a hotel first? There are plenty of cheap hotels and bed & breakfast type places in both Arrowhead and Big Bear. Bring your bikes and hiking boots and you can still get out and see everything. There are loads of hiking and bike trails.

    I wouldn’t know about the camping, but Castle Rock trail on the west end of the lake, south shore, is pretty good for hiking and seeing beautiful scenery.

    Also, it you are planning to park anywhere in San Bernardino National Forest, you need a Forest Adventure Pass. The above link has more on that.
