What are some good things to bring to summer camp?
ByI have been going to camp for eight years now and there always seems to be many of those little things that I always forget. Does anyone have ay good ideas or suggestions of what to bring this summer??

I’m going to camp this summer as well and I’ve been so long that I have to be a counselor next year or quit. : (
Anyway I always forget those little things too. Like
Flashlight (I always lose mine IDK why)
bugspray and cream for the bites.
Hairbrush (lose this too)
Fan depending on the weather there
toiletries.. toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.
Something to dress up with.. at least at my camp we have theme dances and times to put on a costume.
tape and scissors
stamps, paper, envelopes
I’m probably missing a lot.

I’m not sure what type of camp you are referring to.if you mean a summer residential camp they usually send you a list stating what to bring and what not.But i have camp experience and so can tell you some things:
1.Flashlight(and batteries)
2.CLothing(warm and a light jacket or poncho for cool and rainy days)
3.Stationary(to write letters home or if you just feel like writing)
4.A book(if at night in your cabin before bedtime or when you get down time during the day)
5.Sunscreen(if you plan on being in a swimsuit)
6.Bug Repellant(the stuff you spray on yourself to keep bugs away)
7.Bath towel, bath cloth, toothbrush, toothpaste
8.Shower Shoes
9.Medication if needed(like if you have an asthma pump or have to take medication regulary)
10.Camera
11.Deordorant and lotion(unscented so you want draw in bugs)
12.Comb and brush
13.Eating kit(for cookout nights within your cabin
14.Sleeping bag and pillow, maybe a sheet
