sleeping in a trailer is not camping, first of all. secondly, your electronics dont belong in the woods. go outside and listen to nature. take plenty of good socks, a good pair of hiking shoes (needs good tred), 2 or 3 pair of jeans (yes, for 8 days, get over it. camping is about being outside and getting dirty), a good sweater/hoodie, bug spray, sunscreen. if you were actually camping, you would need a tent, sleeping bag, blanket, a big tank of water (at least 2 gallons per day per person, if you arent hiking. if you are bump that up to 4 gallons per day per person. thats minimal). get used to being dirty, there isnt heated water out there unless youre near a hot spring. take a hat or bandana to keep dirty hair out of your face and to protect from the sun. well those are the basics (for non-camping) i suppose…

Forget the electronics…unplug from the music, MTV, all the commercials. Just enjoy nature the way the early explorers did. If you already have everything you need food, water etc. just bring your camping spirit, a bag of marshmallows and enjoy being away from home.
