What island in Hawaii is best suited for us?

Me and my sister are going to Hawaii when I grad , We want to go to an island that’s not too crowded, beutiful scenery – waterfalls swimming holes, ect. We like to hike & explore too.
Were thinking of renting a camper van for a month then just park it on one of the beaches thier..So any place that allows you to do that would be great.
Maui
Either Maui or the Big Island (Hawaii). If you’re seriously going to do the camper thing then the Big Island would be better because it’s so much bigger than any of the other islands. There are plenty of spots on the Big Island where you can park a camper, not sure if it’s legal in most parks (probably not).
Kauai. Its soo pretty and there are freshwater streams and places where you can just hike and have fun!! I had so much fun when i went there. Im not sure about the camping at the beach because the beaches are there for others and you need to leave space for others to have fun. I really recomend Kauai. Da BOMB!!!
If you’re seriously considering a camper van then definately Big Island cause it’s just bigger. You generally don’t see campers on the other islands.
