What prescription drugs can I take to boot camp?

I want to take propecia for hair loss, and accutane for acne. I just don’t know if I am allowed to bring these prescriptions to boot camp. If you know, please answer.

You can take them, but don’t expect to be allowed to use them, unless and until a Military doctor prescribes them for you.
You can take them, but they will just be confiscated when you get there. Any prescriptions you take will be looked over by a military doctor and they will decided if you need them, and if you do, they will be reissued to you, although, I highly doubt these will get represcribed to you as they sound more for appearance than for health.
I wouldn’t suggest even bringing them but you can probably contact the place you will be taking BCT and they can give you a correct answer. It sounds simple enough but you never know until you call. Don’t trust anyone 100 percent and that includes your recruiter
You are told to take them usually. Either way the other Responders are correct, you will NOT keep the civilian issued medicines. If they say you need them you get military prescribed medicines. If not, you are out of luck.
Acne can get you disqualified from enlistment if it’s serious which it sounds like it may be because of your prescription. Be careful with that.
Anyway, nah, no prescription meds allowed.
No prescription drugs are allowed in basic.
you can take them! those are not forbidden drugs!
Birth control. and it will be reissued there. NO other Rx meds are pemritted.
NONE…

within 12 hours you won’t have any…
