what types of things do you bring to camp?
Byi am going to camp for 6 days. it is overnight. its on the lake. what types of things do i need to bring. also to get there i am riding the train for 9 hours by myself so i also need to know what to bring for a long train ride. thanks. long lists are the best!

depends on the type of camp
sheets/sleeping bag
clothes (shirts, shorts, pants, sweaters swimming suits, sandals, tennis shoes, etc)
toiletries (hairbrush, shampoo, toothpaste, tooth brush, etc)
cards
books
water bottle
towels
sun scree
bug spray
hat

okay! i spend every summer almost all summer at camp so i’m kinda a pro at this:
-bug spray
-sunscreen
-toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothbrush, etc…)
-3 pairs jeans
-3 pair shorts
-swimsuit
-towel
-sleeping bag
-pillow
-a book/ipod (for the train ride)
-hat
-tennis shoe’s
-flip-flops
-flashlight
that’s pretty much it, try ‘rolling’ your clothes so they look like cylanders. you can fit more in less space that way.

OOH! Sounds fun!
For ride: Cell phone or iPhone, iTouch or iPod, DS, Gameboy, cd player, something like that for the trip to keep you busy! I would say personally just iPhone (if you have one) or your cell phone and an iTouch or iPod?
Bring some snacks on the way up! Bring a meal to. Something like a Turkey Sandwich, or PB &J because it is easy to eat! Chips would be good too! Candy is ALWAYS good!
Bring a PILLOW! It’s nice to put your head on something soft while your listening to some songs!
Make sure to bring CHARGERS for these!!!
For Camp:

Shampoo + Conditioner
Face Scrub
Face mask? it’d be fun with your friends
Nailpolish
MAKEUP =) my fave!
Clothes:
Bring 8 shirts! Ok? 8! I know you are only there for 5 nights but you never know if you might get a stain on one! Better to be safe then sorry!
Bring 3 undershirts (2 white and one color)
Bring an outfit that you can lounge in! Like sweatpants and a baggy T! For times you just wanna CHILL!
Bring 5 bras and undies.
8 socks because you will walk a lot and no one like stinky feet!
SHOES:
2 or 3 walking pair. Make sure they are VERY comfortable and its better if they are NOT new because they are already broken in. They will be much more comfortable.
Misc.
Hair dryer
Straightner or Curler (if you want)
Hairspray
Intersting Books because you will most likely have quiet time
Stationary to write to home
BUG SPRAY!
SUNSCREEN!!!! I like the spray kind
SOME KIND OF BAG FOR DIRTY CLOTHES!!!!
TIP:
Bring TREATS for your cabin if you can! Like CHIPS and CANDY! They will love it! Late night party!!! =) If you arn’t allowed to bring any have your parents SEND you some! =) or send YOURSELF some! LOL!
If you won’t get in TOO much trouble bring some silly sting and toilet paper to play a prank. But make sure the staff would find it funny and not kick you out!
MONEY!!!! =) Make sure to SHOP!
