what would be some emergency items that i should take when i go camping?

i am goin campin in a week or so and i was wandering what if i get bit by a snake or something what should i bring to help. thanks

well for snakes they sell a cheap snake bite kit, get that with a lighter and waterproof matches, whistle just in case one of y’all goes wandering and gets in trouble. knife, water water water… I don’t know your location so maby mace (bear spray) possibly a handgun if you like
1. Canteen ( to hold water and able to boil water)
2. Knife
3. Basic Medical supplies
If you have those basic supplies you would be able to last a little while in the wild. If you happen to be bitten by a snake you will need to get help right away (if it is poisonous the venom could hurt you in a a couple days or less depending on the snake) I also recommend you research the plants and animals in the region that you are going to.

There are snake bite kits however unless you really know what your doing I don’t recommend using them. Get a good wilderness first aid book and follow that direction for snake bite. In general any place that has general camping that won’t be an issue and you will close enough to emergency services to not have to worry.
