Brian’s (Fresnel) SOLAR DEATH RAY! – Metal to ASH!!!

Took apart an old broken projection screen TV, and took out the screen, peeled apart the two layers, and ended up with a giant plastic magnifying lens, that’s like… a KAZILLION times more powerful than that little round one you used as a kid, to melt little green army men and kill ants (don’t lie, I did it too). ******************************************** PS Due to the current economy, donations of ANY amount, are always welcome! @Shuttheheckup735 I have no idea… but yeah, it’s pretty weak. I’ve seen other videos though, of a fresnel lens like mine, melting steel, a stack of pennies, and glass. You can also use it to cook. Pretty powerful stuff here… it’s not called a “death-ray” for nothing!

    ^_^

1:30 Tin cans are a weak metal, I can melt 1 with a lighter. Tin’s melting point is what? 150, 175 celcius?

A few minutes… not that long, really. It’s an extremely powerful, ultra oversized Fresnel lens — The same as one of those 8.5″ x 11″ plastic page magnifiers.

How long did they take, in real time?
