I am bias…I bought the Sigma 50mm 1.4 for many other reasons over the Canon 1.4 (durability, warranty, newer technology, better USM type motor)….but even so…the Sigma also has much better Bokeh. Must be the 9 blades. Why am I buying more Sigma lenses now? Hmmmmm…Canon are you listening? Time to stay current with what made you so great in the first place….great SLR cameras & lenses.
