@Highlander77 I loved some of the songs off Jasmine Flower – Ride was certainly one of my favorite songs of hers (or anybody) ever. Beautiful Storm and Out In New Mexico were also superb. But as an album, I felt it lacked a bit in variation, and hence I also find this to be a stronger overall offering.

I cannot find the right words to descried the feelings her music brings into me. Peace? Unity? Light? Safety? This woman isn’t just inspirational, she is empowering! I am so glad her music makes a good part of my life. :)

I just bought album Jasmine Flower today , listened to and love it so much. Then I just heard she release the new album ….. I listened to some songs and think she’s back to the sound of Red Bird…. I love the sound of Jasmine Flower… but it’s still Ok.

P.S. I listened all her albums.

@my8miles Oyster was great in its time, but I don’t get why some fans completely fixate on that album as the be all and end all of Heather Nova records. Her songwriting ability, great as it was even back then, has grown and matured greatly in the years since then.

Nice Song, nice Picture. But there will never be an album like “Oyster” again… :(

@treg1980 I couldn’t disagree more. While I certainly welcome Heather’s return to a full band album, Jasmine Flower was amazing. I’d suggest anyone who found it to be boring should maybe give it another listen. Sometimes when you have a preconceived idea of how something should be, you end up disappointed when it’s not what you were expecting. Give it another chance, this time without those expectations, and you may be surprised at how different your perception of it is the second time.

the song is so beautiful. …”using only Solar power” <3 <3 <3

Finally something exciting again, I’m sorry, but Jasmine Flower was so boring!

  15. Schaelzig says:

Thanks, Heather! Very nice song! I´m waiting for the release of the new album!

  16. Highlander77 says:

I cannot wait for this album. Heather, I don’t know if you actually read these comments or not, but you are an amazing artist. Don’t ever stop making music.
