Seriously great work here, simple and creative genius.
Love the can do concepts and resourceful acquisitions. Especially the P V C mount.

I like the caulking gun adjuster feature. I suggest you use some of the power, always, such for just running your modem or wi-fi. That will help you judge your system for weakness or needed maintenance. I really like the idea of have green covers to indicate battery power outlets. Great DIY home solar. Please check out my video. Hi from sunny FL

Try reversing your input and output. Worked with a similar system 20 years ago and found that forcing air against the natural convection flow increased temps substantially.

Well done Rich. It is fun to see how differently we approach the use of solar. We can certainly learn a lot from each other. Keep up the good work.

hi the dump load can go to anything you want another battery / fan /lights/ grid inverter as long as it can use up the extra power

does the “dump” go to another battery?

  9. pgm98387 says:

Thats a good charge controller if it will let you do both charging and a dump load.
My Xantrek C40 manual says you can only use it for one or the other.
    Very cost effective system.

    Thanks!

Have you considered adding a motorized tracker. It would fit real nice on ready system. Some call it a heliostat I call it a motorized tracker blade :)
