Call me silly… and perhaps in a wild mood, but I’d rather teach her how to bark like a dog, than listen to the rest of this…

@jmugrad1 part one will explain that.

@jmugrad1 looks like it, but they’re probably on the back and she’s going backwards to what we normally do with front to back… lol.. silly women with theyre back to front stuff…
ya I solder all the top first, glue them to the glass, and to the back last… you to?

  4. Me102288 says:

use a flat form to solder your cells then carefully pick the whole row up when you place them on a piece of 1/4″ Tempered glass to protect them from the elements, like hail.
You can even fill the back with epoxy, fiberglas and resin, or anything that will seal the cells to the glass and keep moisture out.. well, if you want them to last more then 10 minutes out in the “real world” :-)

@downalexunder Come buy our ready-made solar cells here, plastecs.com.
get great deals, Our solar cells come right off the production line, they have slight defects, or small chips. Can guarantee that they work!! Flexible pricing!!!!

Are you soldering one tab to the positive side and one to the negative side?
It seems that you were soldering the tabs all to the same side of the cells.

i like you and your solar setup show are also shining like a sun

I really like this setup and actually intrested in buying even. But, cost is high. You can buy a premade larger panel for less. Also how is the panel sealed to protect on both sides. I only see you working on one side does this mean after they are glued down there is no protection?

  9. downalexunder says:

    Where can you buy cells?

  10. tommydhansen says:

    Solar Panel is 36 cells =18 v not 12 cells =6 v
