NOVA Saved By the Sun (Solar NanoPaint)
by admin on Thursday, December 16th, 2010 | 8 Comments
This clip is from the 2007 WGBH Boston NOVA PBS program, “Solar Energy: Saved By the Sun” which documents how solar energy is being used around the world in addition to the future of solar energy technology. The introduction of nanotechnology in solar energy production will dramatically lower cost and increase efficiency. As I talk about in my books, imagine a world where cars, houses, buildings, streets, signs, billboards, airplanes, and virtually everything else is painted with energy-collecting solar nano-paint. It is all very exciting, and could very well prove a viable alternative to finite fossil fuels.

So who thought of this? Was it Ted Sargent?
Apart from the fact, that creating cheap solar-cell-foils to just glue to the roof is a lot better aproach, than having to paint your roof, this is pretty cool.
And that is how we are going to save the world!=)
