why do we use electricity why not use solar panels and all that thats made out of solar power?

lets not use electricity anymore, because its wasting energy why don’t we use everything solar powered. You could use electricity or solar panels your choice

solar panels make electricity.
solar power refers to the electrical energy we make from the sun.
Solar panels are very expensive.
Yeah, you’re right. Let’s stop using electricity. Now get off the computer and never come back, please and thank you.
That’s a good question. Unfortunatly, solar panels can be expensive and it takes quite a bit of real estate to fit enough solar panals to make enough electricity to make a difference.
They are costlier in initial phase and the devices we use are electricity based
solar panels are very expensive.
Apart from the fact that solar panels are expensive, I see your question was mirrored through the American channel so I’m going to assume you live in the USA.
So where in the USA do you live where it is sunny all the time? We don’t use solar power en masse because it is weather dependent, and our energy needs are usually inversely proportional to said weather patterns.
Solar power is a viable technology. The problem that we have right now is not having a cost effective way of storing the power when the sun is not shining. That said, battery technology is improving and I hope we find a solution to this soon.
1) Not everyone has enough sun for solar power.
2) Solar cells are difficult and expensive to produce, you can use direct solar heating but it is less efficient and can’t be stored.
3) Solar power is fine for domestic use but actually people use a lot of energy. For example water distribution uses a lot of electricity, as do factories.
4) Electricity is difficult to move around, and the large open areas suitable for solar “farms” are often far from where power is most needed (in cities). Similarly, more people use power when and where it’s dark and cold.
