  2. nickolastd21 says:

so any one know how its storing its power?

  3. lendog3000 says:

@Tayjinglai No disrespect, did you even watch the video. “the boat can travel for three days and nights before needing to be recharged”

  4. madjimms says:

    It looks fucking awesome!

  5. bubblerings says:

They should put a cup on that prop to have less drag.
    Nice boat!

    Wind power > Solar power

  7. Tayjinglai says:

*in the middle of the sea*
    *Starts to rain*
driver : shit no solar energy!

  8. APhamx7 says:

@FantasticBob7000 recharged by the sun, you got to realize the sun doesn’t shine 24/7.

  9. FantasticBob7000 says:

Why would a solar powered boat need to be recharged???

  10. denizseverler says:

    wow great boat, respect :)

  11. 7eardstapa7 says:

@687990 What if you run out of diesel in the middle of the Pacific? Same thing happens. Except, in a solar boat, all you have to do is wait for the sun, and you can keep going. In a diesel ship, you have to wait for a refueler boat.

  12. SuperKenny720 says:

@joelito84 It’s hard to use a sail boat but a solar boat would only require you hit the gas. Puls solar can be faster.

  13. 687990 says:

what if its a cloudy week? :O i dnt wanna be on that boat then

  14. Cow97Tipper86 says:

@robertghouston They mean to say that it could be sunny for one day and then that would charge the panels, then it could be pitch black for three days and the vessel will still be able to move. But being it will be in the sun most of the time while circumnavigating the globe, it will be recharging every second due to the sun. So they don’t even need to worry about recharging.

@NoahJacobsPiano wind comes from warm and cold air, warm air comes from sun, so sun causes the wind :/

  16. christopherawesome says:

@NoahJacobsPiano yes, and the wind is powered by….?

  17. NoahJacobsPiano says:

    @christopherawesome Wind powered dude…..

Awesome and Geat solar boat. Congratulation !

  21. joelito84 says:

Instead of a very green method of travel by attaching an easily produced sail, they went ahead and made solar panels in a factory at a very high cost, also causing pollution. This just does not make any sense to me, I could understand a sail boat that had an auxilary solar powered motor for the doldroms at the equator or while in a marina.

Next I want to see a solar powered horse. Yes that is right I want you to attach solar panels to a horse and carriage.

  22. Hellstrom03 says:

What’s the point in having those paddle wheel like propellers. Isn’t it more effective with a fully submerged propeller?

  23. IndoPindaNL says:

put a big sail on it when it’s windy and you will double the speed.

  24. bibopapop says:

This will be popular when the ground gets too populated and the ice melts from the polution.
You can live in it,move it,go fishing and boil the water to make it good for drinking ;D
But there’ll probably be invented some kind of a renewing filter by then.
