2 products i can think of are-scotch guard and repel both are sprays and pretty simple to use
First of all, you may want to verify that the fabric will actually hold up for being outdoors. Some fabrics will fade quickly in the sun and some fabrics will become moldy so these are definitely two things to consider. The fabric types I would consider are Sunbrella, Outdura, Vinyl, and Spun Polyester. These have been created to withstand the harsh outdoors and are fade resistant. Then, I would use a water repellent spray, such as Scotch Guard to ensure the water-proofing of that fabric.
Good Luck!
