    @salcedoautberto
    Nobody that year knew the fiesta people had graded the area and had not compacted the dirt so when they parked all was great. Then a few days later the rains came and turned it to mud but still nobody knew till they tried to leave and then every one got stuck, even if they had lumber down for the jacks, because there was no purchase for the tires and it was 4 inches of mud, gooey mud.

  2. salcedoautberto says:

    next time put lumber under the jacks.

    Nothing would have helped as they were parked and when they put the jacks up the tires sank. Work had been done on the parking area before they got there and it had not bee packed down. After the rains it was mush. The next year all that area was blacktopped.

    I wonder if a tag axle would have made a difference. I have only been stuck in mud once way back in high school, but there have been several close calls in snow and ice.

    This is why RV’s aren’t traditionally used for off-roading.

    That’s like friggen quicksand it got caught in.

  7. MrZax16 says:

    And the tow guy drug it sideways through thick mud. They did drive it home OK but don’t know what happened after all that mud dried in the underside of the RV

  8. EverHurt says:

    ouch thats aprox a 200,000 dollar diesel pusher right there.

  9. MrZax16 says:

    I just took the photos,I sure the tow guy made a fortune that day as he towed at least 6 RV’s out, we stayed high and dry.

    How much did that set you back? (the tow)
