Anybody know of a good place to go camping with your dog in Northern California. Somewhere they can run around?

We’ve found a few different spots but many have strict rules about dogs not being allowed on trails or beaches. very annoying and discouraging. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated!
Van Duzen river county campground is dog friendly, Aiken’s creek campground has a lot of space for dogs, Hotteling campground is so far out there, no one cares about your dog
From the ones I go to. The only places I went that allows dogs and aren’t very strict bout them is Trinity Lake and Antelope Lake.
But it would be a good idea to keep your dog around your campsite. I know i would be annoyed if someones dog kept coming into my campsite.
