Best place to spend a weekend or so in Summer time in Washington State ?

I live in Washington state, But I want to go up north sometime this summer because the furthest I have been is Seattle, Tacoma, Lacey/Oly.
Were is somewere nice to spend the weekend or maybe more.. camping or hotel.. possibly with beaches or fun stuff around to do …? quad riding, horse riding, fishing… anyother outdoors stuff… anything fun for family/friends for a small summer vacation… What is the average temperature in Summer there?
I live in spokane, and my favorite place of all time is Courd A’lane ID and there is a really nice resort right on the beach, over there everything is walking distance and the lake is HUGE and they have cliffs to jump off, boats to rent, you can even go parasailing if you want, The temp is usually 80 to 90 degrees. i think you will love it there, its like 20 minutes outside of spokane! oh and they also have a big casino too!
San Juan Islands. To make it extra-accessible and inexpensive, board the ferry with a bicycle and leave the auto parked at the long term parking outside Anacortes.
There are some high end resorts, cozy B&Bs, as well as many campgrounds, especially on the largest islands: Orcas and San Juan.
The beaches are mostly rocky, though some have sand mixed in. This is true of most of Washington’s interior beaches. Along the Pacific Coast, much of southern Washington is mud bays; only the Olympic Peninsula facing the Pacific has beautiful sand beaches comparable to Oregon.
The average water temperature is 50°F, summer and winter.

The cost of driving on the San Juan Island ferries is outrageous – plan to spend a few days up there to make it worthwhile. The current cost for a family of four (with car) is $63.45 and there’s a additional $ surcharge in the summer.
There are a ton of campgrounds both public & private on Orcas; we camped out last summer for around $25/night We rented kayaks, hiked, biked and fished. The water is very cold and it can be chilly at night. But it’s a great place to escape to on a summer vacation.
