Can I get set up into DEERS at any military base with a DEERS office present?

My husband and I became legally married (6 months before the actual wedding) and his duty station is Camp Lejeune, NC. It is easier for him to travel to Colorado, where I reside, due to my job and schooling.
Can my husband set me up in DEERS at a designated office in Colorado even though his duty station is in NC? Further, can I obtain my ID at Buckley AFB (here in CO)?

Your hubby can walk into any ID card location on any military installation provided he has the correct info and set up DEERs for you. Once the DEERS is set up, you may need a POA to go without a spouce, I would callt h ID place you intend on going before you go to find out what exactly you need if you are going without hubby, you may not need a POA, but just incase, call.
your husband has to get you put into deers, you cannot do that yourself. Once that is done you can contact your local ID card place and see what paperwork you will need in order to obtain your ID card, also dont forget to go to teh tricare office there and get your medical started…
Every thing you ask is yes… He will need to send you the completed form for your ID Card, any military base will assist you…
