can I put this on my college application…?

For the activities, can I put that I attended a week long engineering camp at Western Michigan University. I’m just wondering if I can put this on my application because I did this in the summer before the start of 7th grade when I was in middle school and I don’t know if it would still count just because it wasn’t in high school.

Don’t. They don’t care what happened in middle school. Don’t put anything that you didn’t do before the summer before your freshman year.
If you think it would make a big difference in getting a spot in the college you are applying for, then you may as well put it.
Just expand on it during the interview as to why you deem this experience is important, etc.
I hope this help.
well, it depends what kind of application it is, but it never hurts. if this is for a scholarship, it probably means nothing. if theres any way you can write down that you did the camp before 7th grade, then do it. paper applications give you much more freedom than the online ones, but make sure you somehow tell them that if you include it. if they read it and they decide it doesnt count, they’ll just disregard it. but it’s still in their minds (and im hoping your applying for an engineering program haha)
