Can you clean up the Indiana video questions?
Over the last 24 hours a lot of us Obama fans have been thrilled by the idea that the Clinton Camp had another “Bosnia moment” and called the people of Indiana “white nxggers”. We have posted questions pointing at a video link that appeared accurately subtitled.
I dug around a little and it found a message stating that this is on DVD with subtitles and the text on the part that sounds like “white nxggers” and was documented that way on the video clip we saw over the last 24 hours was:
“HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE ON THE BACK OF THIS ONE”.
With that in mind, watching the video it does seem to be what he says, but I can understand someone who didn’t have the subtitles reaching that mistaken translation.
I don’t think any of us on the Obama side like the idea of spreading false rumors about others, so I am asking if anyone else who bought into this can erase their questions as I and others have. This isn’t fair to Mr. Kantor who’s only offense is supporting Hillary.
Less honorable people will say that this was some Obama campaign orchestrated hitjob — ignoring the fact that the video was on DVD and subtitled.
Cleaning up our mess only helps Mr. Obama.
Finally don’t lose hope. It has been a couple of weeks. Another Bosnia moment is on the way — it just isn’t this.

I am so glad you made that clear…. I’m not being sarcastic either. I don’t watch TV, so I was wondering what in the world this was all about.

I live in Indiana.
Had a few people/family ask about it, and told them what happened. Needless to say they are appalled by it being a false video, and are thankful the truth is out. As most are Hoosiers too.
It’s no need to clean it up..most know who manufacture it and why..
This is nothing but another one of Obama’s “Dirty Tricks” group hard at work.
Like everyone says Obama will go to any length to use the race card to throw people off the focus of the real issues he can not stand up to or face. This one is nearly as good as Rev Wright..
Most think it’s funny..Every time he does something it back fires on him and he digs the hole deeper.
Wonder how he will apologize for this one.

There is a second video that shows Mr. Kantor talking to James Carville saying “these people are sh*t” , referring to Indiana voters and doesn’t seem to be edited at all?
It is from earlier days, Carville has hair.
It doesn’t seem to be relevent to this election with Hillary it’s from Bill’s campaign.
But it’s to your credit for creating this post.
Politico, I often disagree with you (as I do on your choice of candidate), but I think the post above is the most respectable thing I’ve seen here. As a Hillary supporter I thank you not for restoring a good word for my candidate, but for showing others how to be decent and honorable. And I’m not trying to be condescending when I say that…I really do wish there were more like you around here.
Edit: It’s unfortunate that Politico owned up to the mistakes of a few Obama supporters and asked more to do the same…while some posters above took the opportunity to rail the Obama campaign for their part in this. It doesn’t matter if this video is true, fabricated, or just misunderstood, this guy is being decent and I think supporters of every candidate should try to do the same.
Until its proven beyond a reasonable doubt, I will not pursue it. I’ll be a non-objective observer for the next couple of days.
I have watched several instances of the video though. Ignoring the “White N***er” comment, there is a period where Kantor appears to say
“Look at Indiana, wait, wait – look at Indiana. 42-40. It doesn’t matter if we win. Those people are sh*t. Excuse me.”
That portion of the video does not appear to be doctored, but I can’t say that with %100 certainty.
Interesting.

Hmmm… i dont know If I agree with the director on that one. I watched this video several times and there is no way Kantor says that.
