Canoeing or hiking in Oregon: best scenic routes?
Husband and I are looking to take a camping trip to Oregon. We want to go canoeing or hiking on the most scenic route possible. There are so many to investigate how can I plan this trip better? We want to tent camp too if possible. Any insight or helpful trip planning?
Highway 101 is a great road to take-it goes right along the coast and there are tons of little campgrounds lining it. There are great hikes all along 101 too.
Depending on when you visit, the coast can be cool and wet which is problematic for camping–June, July, August and into September are a bit warmer.
