Colorado Car Camping with dogs, looking for a secluded area?

My husband and I want to go car camping in Colorado. We want to bring our 3 well behaved dogs (a min pin,a boxer and a vizsla). Though they are well behaved, with only the 2 of us we want to go somewhere VERY secluded. We don’t want to camp next to well travailed trails, and don’t want to see anyone else camping. We want to drive to the spot, and feel lost in the woods! Walking distance to some water would be great! Any ideas??? Please HELP!!!

I can’t recommend anything specific, but Hinsdale County in the San Juan mountain range is one of the most remote places in the lower 48. Home to many 14ers and where 4 national forests meet, only 800 people live in 1100 sq miles

you’re usually allowed to camp at 14er trailheads. Look into Redcloud, Ellingwood, and Uncompaghre peaks
I don’t have any advice on where to go, but make sure you keep a close eye on the dogs, especially the min pin. There’s lots of CO wildlife that would consider him prey.
