I didn’t know they could only do a 2 and 2. But you can write letters, and there are internet cafe’s and skype, and cell phones and any other method of communication after your friend is out of tech school.

You to will be fine she will be able to talk to you on the internet tell her to get majic jack lol it works over there in iraq but she’ll need internet to and they have that also. The most they do over there now is a one year tour and 6 months into it she’ll get r/r which means she’ll be able to come on home to see you she’ll be fine and you gals will always be in contact together!!!!!!!!

Well anyone who enlist in the army has to give 8 years, this is called their military service obligation (MSO). She can do 2 years active and then the rest can be 6 years inactive.

Next, you will be able to keep in contact with her. She can have her own computer, phone, cell, and write letters to you. And you can call her, email her, and write letters back to her.

She can deploy up to a year at a time in the Army. She will be able to come home on R&R after she has been deployed 3 months to 9 months. She will be able to take R&R for 14 days. If she is not deployed she can come visit you and you can come visit her. She will be able to take leave when she is not deployed and can get up to 30 days. You two will have time to talk to and see each other while she is active duty.
