Do you really want to raise taxes on those people making over $250K annually ?
Biting the hand that feeds you…
I am semi-retired because of all this non-sense… at age 42.
I will not open a business to stick my neck out to be taxed to death, there’s no incentive only punishment (maybe that’s what our government wants, for all of us not to prosper whatsoever).
I will not hire any more employees…
I will not give employees raises or bonuses.
I will not invest in America’s future… to be taxed capitol gains, and inheritance taxes.
It is called GRIDLOCK
and America will soon see how we progressed to be the greatest nation in the world by hard work and dedication for generation after generation when America falls apart and crumbles from within.
The ECONOMY is like playing a monopoly game as a child, you know someone is cheating and when you find out, the board, everyone’s money, and all of the game pieces are all over the place THEN everyone loses….
HEY I pay enough to live here through all sorts of unfair taxes which add up to make you puke!

I’ve worked everyday since I was 16, I saved, I invested, I did all the right things… and I’m done. I have paid over 3 million dollars in taxes in 25 years.
OWEN you don’t get it…. I stuck my neck out twice with everything I owned to open 7 different businesses, I failed with some and moved on,
I had just over 400 employees, and when I was burdened by the government those people to were burdened, I didn’t hire anyone for the longest time, I minimized employee levels to offset everything, trickle down economics,

The problem has been, and will continue to be, politicians promising to cut taxes. This is the same as a tax increase without adjusting the budget elsewhere. It’s time for folks like you to show a little patriotism to the country that lets you retire at age 42.
If everybody was as greedy as you, we would have stopped being a country in the ’50′s when the rich had to pay 90% in taxes. You wouldn’t be taxed to death, you’d just either have to pay out that money to your employees, or earn as much as they do.
What makes you think you deserve so much more money than the people who are earning it for you?
You rich people think you’re entitled to you’re solid gold yachts, and bigger deductions for jets than Delta Airlines gets, and if you don’t get them, you’ll just be a hypocrite and live off of the Dole, huh?
flake…
P.S. those are the same damn taxes that someone who earns $10,000/year pays. Those taxes are levied on anyone who uses those services. You think you should get a pat on the back because you pay a tax on your bourbon? Joe Shmoe pays the same tax on his beer
How stupid can you get?
How many times you going to post this?
We currently have the LOWEST taxes here since the 1950′s and the lowest taxes among industrialized nations.
So we don’t have HIGH taxes.
One reason we have 14 trillion debt.
No we all pay enough taxes, spot spending we live within our means the government should to.Why should the government always get more taxes, when was the lst time you go a cost of living raise.
The proposal is to tax anything over $250K at the old income tax rates before 2001 and that is a 3.8% increase. Lower taxes hurts our economy. The issues are not those taxes you listed. We are talking only capital gains and income and inheritance. Taxes in the U.S. all told, are lower than Asia and Europe.
