I don’t know of one in New York, but a good one is JCC Ranch Camp in Colorado, my best friend loves it :)

Camp Seven Hills, I believe it’s in Holland, NY, has a summer program. It’s a week of lessons 2x a day, and a show at the end. You sleep in a bunkhouse, and clean stalls every day.

Willow Hill Farm Camp: It’s a GREAT camp for english riding. all you do is ride and be around horses with the occasional field trip off the farm. I have gone there for two summers. it’s in Keeseville, NY http://www.willowhillfarm.com/

Long Acres: my friend is going to this camp this coming summer. I don’t know much about it, but the website looks good. it’s in East Aurora, NY

I dont know any in New York, but in Philidelphia, Tennessee is the best camp ever. Its called Shadow Mountain farm, and its a all girls camp. They have one week, one and half week, and two weeks sessions, depending on your experiance. Its English riding though, so give us some more info on what you do. Its tons of fun and they are all very welcoming and you will have great friends at the end of camp. I love going =) Their website is:
    smfhorsecamp.com

But i know that in some of my horse magazines they have camps advertised and im sure ive seen some in New York. Just check that out maybe. You can also google it.

I went to a horse camp in New York last year. It is called Sprucelands. I loved it, I rode a horse named Buddy, a horse named Romeo (who is so gentle) and Madge (she loves to jump) The have many horses there, and I loved them all, Also the cabins were really cool. They also have a pond for Kayaking and canoeing. It’s a great place, I wanted to go back this summer, but my mom didn’t want to drive again, we live in NH and it took a long time. It’s located in Java center. Also I don’t know where in NY you live, but if you are close to Vermont, I went to a camp there to called Kimberly Farms camp, It was awesome. We rode everyday in saddle and then bareback every afternoon. You could look out windows of the cabin and see horses in one of the pastures. A horse there named Midnight, who is an arabian, is the horse I learned to ride bareback on! And Madge from Sprucelands is the horse I learned to jump on! Good luck , these are like my two favorite places on earth!Good luck! :-)
