Good Camping spots in or around Virginia?
ByI wanna go to a nice camping spot with a bunch of friends to Virginia, but I cant seem to find one, I want a place thats not too expensive, but has electricity and bathrooms. I also want a place with swimming, fishing, and maybe some trails nearby. Also an amazing view. There’s a girl I really like coming and I want it to be romantic. Finally I want the sites to be pretty big, but also a descent distance away from other sites. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know

ok, well if you go to virginia beach area, I would suggest First Landing State Park. Last time i checked, it was a non-site specific so you might have to be a bit lucky about which site you get. As long as you don’t go for a tent area only, you should be ok (the ones w/o electricity are really close and open). the campsites are a mix from forest to sand dunes, some partially overlooking the ocean.
The beach is really nice, no lifeguards but seemed safe when we went. There are also a few miles of hiking trails through forests and along pathways/boardwalks through cypress swamps, with some really nice photos if you look online. we wanted to do this, but ran out of time with all the other things (fishing from the beach, from a nearby pier, and from a place near a bridge over an inlet, lynnhaven inlet).
here is a photo i took of one of the boardwalks(http://madgenius113.deviantart.com/art/A-Long-Walk-159699761?q=&qo=)

oh, and we went to this really nice seafood place, called Bubba’s or something, right on the inlet. you can eat in/out, see the inlet, and even go on evening dolphin watching cruises. really nice
