Harold Camping should pay all off his followers their money back.?

So many people poured their life savings into this end of the world gibberish, I know they were dumb for doing it, But Camping swore to them it was true. Here is how much money Camping has
“As the day drew nearer, followers reported that donations grew, allowing Family Radio to spend millions on more than 5,000 billboards and 20 RVs plastered with the doomsday message. In 2009, the nonprofit reported in IRS filings that it received $18.3 million in donations, and had assets of more than $104 million, including $34 million in stocks or other publicly traded securities.”
Harold Camping is a liar and an extortionist, he stole all of this money from people. He should give it all back, to his followers, like the guy from New York who dumped his life savings (140,000 dollars). Its really terrible what he’s done.
What do you guys think?

I think if someone is dumb/gullible enough to quit their job and hand over their life savings to some crazy old fart just because he told them the world is going to end then they had it coming to them.

I totally agree with you. It is criminal behavior, in my opinion. This sort of thing should be outlawed. Mr. Camping is delusional. This is sickening.

It’s very unfortunate, I agree, but this just goes to show you that when you put your trust and faith in someone (thing) other than Jesus Christ, you will be disappointed, confused and led astray! We are to discern everything that we hear and learn with the Word of God and it is obvious that NO ONE can know the day or hr of Jesus’ return, therefore of the Rapture, the end of the world as we know it. I doubt if there’s anything legal that anyone can do about Harold’s deceiving these people…but there is 1 who He cannot scam and deceive and get away with what He has done and that is God.

Yes, they who believed this all and gave money out are dumb, but they deserve there money back.

Why should he pay them back ? First of they donated to a fund, no money went into his pockets. People have the choice to do what they want with their belongings and money. Even he said give me money, no one has to do what he says. Second, Harold is a retired civil engineer; who happens to teach people about the bible if you may. If I was a car salesman who read the bible and all that, and said May 21st is judgement day and were all going to die except a small percentage to be saved, would you believe me? I highly doubt it. He is just a regular man who happens to know about the bible.
