How could we go about getting Andrew Jackson off the 20 dollar bill?
as a native american it bothers me everytime i see it espically as a cherokee. for those of u who dont know how bad of a man he was this is a few things he did. ok at an early age he was known as an “indian fighter” he would kill us and even practced scalping and skinning. in one battle he was surronded by 3 tribes and my people the cherokee saved his butt. about 20 years later he was elected into office for presidecy one of his first things in office was creating a bill that made us and alot of tribes move from our homes in nc to oklahoma no cars no trains walking acroos the us about 2/3 or us died or so. he placed us on reservations much like hitler placed jews in concentration camps in ww2. he was a racist leader. i mean alot of leaders have been but not in a bletant way as he was. will u stand with me to try and voice ur concern over this.
Stop crying and trying to change our history. Jackson is a former president.
Those were different times. The few bad things he has done do NOT compare to all the good things he has done.

The only thing I agree with that Andrew Jackson did is that he paid off all of our country’s deficit. Whether he was bad or not do you really care if he’s on our $20.00 bill or not. Just think of it as that our money is worth nothing now anyway. It is just “Legal Tender” or just plain paper that has value just because our government says so, but that is another subject.
I think he was one of the best presidents in history compared to our leaders now.

I went through a faze where I “lost” father. Was beaten by a man who was not father, mom let it happen with a “blind eye”. Felt bad about my Native ansetors, as well as my African. Problems in schools. Stuggling to find who I was/am.
Do me a favor, this is a big thing that changed me. Read about Budhism. The main focus is to drop ego. When you learn that, many problems go away.

I love this all these keep saying that’s the past let it go , but some of them are the same people who think the US should Apologize for Slavery , How would they feel if we had Jefferson Davis on our money or Robert E Lee . People even had a hissy fit over the Georgia State Flag . Guess that’s different .
