Preferably I would not like to spend more then 1500 a month on payments and Im wondering if theirs like a rent to own thing i could do..down payments are not a problem

If you have prof of the income from the BAH to be used as income then yes. If you have the proper down payment. Check with your VA loan services.
Why not use your VA loan, there is no down payment, low interest rates, if you neogatiate you can get the seller to pay full closing costs. The only money you will need out of pocket would be earnest money, inspection and appraisal fee. We just bought our house in January using my husbands VA loan and we had to have a total of 850 out of pocket money. The seller paid all of our closing cost. And yes you can use your BAH to make the payments. Good Luck
