10 gallon tank. If you don’t have a filtering system, that recycles the water through a filter, that would help. If its algae or the bottom that needs cleaning, try one of the mini water vacuums they sell, that you hover over the rocks to pick up the “dirt”. As for algae, they sell stuff you put in a tank, that gets rid of it.
If you need the whole 9 yards on cleaning it. Scoop out your fish into bags with water from the tank, empty tank completely of water. Clean good, then refill with water. Get your pH and temp and so on right, than place the bags with the fish in them, on the top, for a while, so the water temp from the bag can equal that of the tanks. Then let them free in the tank =D.
Try get a filtration system that is meant for a 20gallon for best results.
and to clean the gravel use a siphon hose gravel cleaner at any pet store that sells fish supplies.
How to use a siphon gravel cleaner:

or and another way to start is to suck the flexible end of the hose and let go and put in bucket of somesort and not in your mouth.
But i highly recommend puting a divider to separate the females and the male before they mate and/or fight and get injured or killed.
Have fun

Does anyone else notice a problem keep 3 bettas in the same tank? They may be fine now, but instinct will kick in and they will fight.
NEVER keep males and females together. I agree with the person above who said it may work for a while, but they WILL fight eventually.
and females should only be kept in groups of 3 or more. in a 10gallon I would remove the male and get 3 more females.
as for cleaning, do you have a filter? if so then once a month or so, suck 20% of the water out using a gravel vacuum or turkey baster then rep[lace with clean conditioned water. if you don’t have a filter you should be doing 100% water changes every other month and doing 20% water changes once a week at least.
well some people say to get a filter, but that can be expensive. you could try changing 1/3 of the water every like 5 days. this will keep it a little more healthy and clean.
also try doing a complete water change every 2-3 weeks
