How do I locate a lot to buy that is ready with water, electricity and no restrictions?
I would like to purchase an acre or more with some privacy and live in my motorhome there until I could build on it. I need it to have water, electricity and the ability/ restrictions allowable to place a motorhome on it. I want to own the lot instead of paying for a space in an RV spot somewhere.
land WITH electric, water and sewer is going to cost you –
even if you find a piece of vacant land for only $2000, drilling a well will cost you $5-10,000 or more and a septic system will be another $10,000, and it will cost something to get electric run to the property – and if the closest transformer is far away, THAT may cost you a few $1000, plus you will have property taxes on the land, and you’ll have to pay for trash pickup, so it’s not going to be as cheap as you might think
at least with a campground or something, you can move south in winter and north in summer – stay in different areas
