How does a 16-year old find a summer job as a camp-counselor?

I’m 16, my friend is 17, and we are both seeking a summer job as camp counselors. We live in New York and are hoping to find a camp anywhere around it, as long as its co-ed.
I have experience with kids already, so I’m pretty sure I’d be able to work out a sort of resume – I just need help finding a place.
Are there any camps you know of or sites that can direct me to decent camps?

Look for camps around ur area- ask to speak with whomever hires the couslelors and set up an interview! ( and fill out an application) GL!
Just research camps in your area and send them emails asking if they need your assistance.
As for the first guys answer, I’ll vouch for 2 of the websites on that list being legitimate. You can make some extra cash using those sites but don’t plan to just sit at home doing that all day, it ain’t gonna happen. I’m a web developer and I sometimes fill out surveys for cash, it brings in like $20 a month if I’m lucky with CashCrate
I’m also lazy though..
