    EDIT:

Turns out its only illegal in a few states, check my source that i linked has all the states and regulations listed

It is easy to pull a trailer. Backing up is the hard part. You cannot pull a tandem.

The Yamaha Waverunner on its trailer should be fine, keep the driving speeds sensible and make sure you get her strapped front and rear.

    Happy jet ski-ing

its easy as long as the trailer hitch is installed by some one that knows what they are doing. we welded square tubing to the bottom of ours and it droped our boat trailer halfway through the trip. welds snapped.

in California it is not illegal you just need a truck license. it all depends were you are living.

  5. Gophuk Yerselv says:

Towing two trailers with one vehicle is ILLEGAL per US DOT standards without a CDL-A and tandem endorsement.

Also, the axle on a pop up trailer is not rated for much weight. Therefore, you would probably be overloading the ‘vehicle’. On top of that, you may be pulling more than the rated tow capabilities of your car or truck (depending on what you have).

Generally, if you have to ask, don’t do it. Pulling tandems requires more effort and attention when cornering.

You would also have engineer it properly. the weight of the tounge of the jetski trailer on the bumper of the popup could cause the popup to come off the hitch ball.

Well legal or not your going to screw up the towing vehicle big time.
Secondly its not the easiest of things to do towing two trailers the number of accidents that has caused is horrendous.

It would NOT BE LEGAL ANYWHERE IN THE US.

The only way you can tow two 2 vehicles is if you have a 5TH WHEEL RV being towed by a truck.. THEN you could put a trailer hitch on the hose bumper of the 5th wheel RV and be legal.. otherwise, the police will have you before you can get 20 miles down the road. You can NOT have TWO bumper type hitches in the combined tow.. call your local HIGHWAY PATROL office and ask them if you don’t beleive me.
