So I went to camp and found out that a REALLY cute guy liked me. But it was too late to get his number. So my friend got it for me through his friend that she liked and I’ve texted him like 5 times in the last 3 to 4 days. He hasn’t answered!! I’m worried I completely ruined my chances!! I know this sounds really stupid, but I really liked the guy. But he lives in Kansas and I live in Oklahoma… What should I do?? Have I completely ruined my chances???
No, but don’t push it. Wait until next year at camp.

thats a super long distance to try and start a relationship from. you might just want to forget him. and just to be honest he might not share the same feelings for you so hes not texting you back. i would go hangout with that friend that got me the number and text him from her phone and see if he says “who’s this??” cuz she prolly doesnt text him. and if he does you text him saying “whats up??” and if he doesnt reply theres your answer. and if he does congrats
). if he does have your friends number though just use somebody’s cellphone who you know doesnt talk to him.
oh and if that was too complicated just call him using *67 and see if answers. thats the great thing about *67 you can call as much as you want and he’ll never know haha

Let it go. I know it sucks and it consumes your thoughts at this point but you can’t start a relationship by long distance. Life is too short to be worrying about someone in another state. You need to enjoy your life in Oklahoma and if this guy was meant to be then you will hook up with him in the future.
From a guys perspective, if he didn’t text you back after five times then give up. If a guy is interested in a girl then he won’t wait for five texts. He will get back right away. If he didn’t do it after the first one then chances are he isn’t interested. I know that sounds cold but guys are very predictable when it comes to this stuff and they don’t play “hard to get”.
