i had this wierd thing on my side?

i dont have it anymore and i never went to the doctor so im just curious if anyone has any ideas

it just kinda appeared one day when i was camping (in Minnesota, not really any poisones bugs or anything) and it was a oval shape a little bigger than a quarter if u stretched a quarter to make it oval shaped. it had a red outline with small bumps on it and inside the skin was dry. It itched REALLY bad and it lasted for quite a while ( a few weeks ) without getting any worse or better, then it got smaller amd smaller for about 5 days before it went away completely. Like I said it was on my side.

I know many of you are going to say I was crazy for not going to the doctor but, i dont know. I dont like the doctor, i was busy, and it didnt seem life threatening?

One day i went swimming and i realized it was right on the seam of my swimsuit, if that gives you any ideas

like i said, i just want to know if anyone has any ideas of what it might have been

Ringworm of the skin usually causes a very itchy rash. The rash is made up of circular patches with raised, red edges. The edges may be peeling or scaly or have bumps that look like blisters. The rash spreads from these edges, often leaving the center clear. This ring-shaped pattern is why it is called “ringworm.” However, this pattern is not always seen.

Ringworm is caused by fungi (plural of fungus). It is not caused by a worm or other parasite. The fungi that cause ringworm live and multiply on the outer layer of the skin.

Lots of possibilities. If friction from the swimsuit seam scraped off some skin cells, then you might have developed a superficial lesion that took awhile to heal because the swimsuit and microorganisms in the water irritated it. If you were in a swimming pool, not a lake, then chlorine might have irritated it.

Either that or you were abducted by UFO aliens and that’s where they put the implant.

You should see your doctor; there’s some chance this is a bulls-eye rash of the kind associated with Lyme disease. If so, you need to be treated right away. You should at least know what the story is.
