If you were camping in the mountians in Montana and a huge Grizzley bear?
Bywandered into a family camp ground…would you shoot it? ok say you were in a tent…with your baby?
I think so too bandit. One drug an 11 year old boy right out of his tent. Killed him of course. I am devistaded for his family

i would hug it cuz there my favorite animal. jk. actually just make a bunch of noise and it shall go away if it does then you can shoot it.

I would probably try and make a lot of loud noise and back away from the bear keeping my family behind me. If necessary, I would certainly shoot it. Immediately, I would leave the area.
Grizzly bears are among the most dangerous and deadly animals to humans on earth. It is one of the few animals that will kill when it doesn’t need the food. They are territorial and would kill a human very easily.

Once they wander into a populated camp ground they are fair game. If you wandered into her territory…with HER baby near by she would make short work of YOU and then eat you for good measure. So I would have a good meal of bear meat and tea !

If I had the rifle to handle a bear, yes I would shoot it. If the bear has came into your camp, I would assume it did not just wonder in without purpose. Most animals will attempt to avoid humans. If a animal is coming into camp, there is a problem.

Hopefully he/she would be chased away by noise. When I am in the backcountry I carry a maritime airhorn around and keep it within easy reach, the few I have run across take off with a quickness with a blast from it. if that does not work your best bet is actually not a firearm, you are better off with a high concentration OC spray (also known as bear spray) with a bears highly developed and sensative olfactory senses it packs a whollop without wounding it to aggression. The problem with a gun is stress shooting you many not kill it right away especially if it is not a large caliber and even if it is you got to get a kill zone, otherwise you will wound it. And a wounded Grizzly is perhaps the most dangerous creature and will not stop until its dead or what hurt it is.
